January Meeting Date Changes!!!

The Village of Bradner Board of Public Affairs regularly scheduled meeting for Monday, January 2nd  has been moved to Monday, January 9th. The regularly scheduled meeting for Monday, January 16th has been moved to Monday, January 23rd.

Leaf Pickup Has Started!

It is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please make sure that you are putting out leaves ONLY, no branches or twigs as these will clog the hose. Please pile them out next to the street, NOT in the street.

Wood For Sale

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

The Village of Bradner is accepting sealed bids for a pile of wood until noon on November 3, 2016, in the Fiscal Officer’s Office at the Bradner Village Hall, 130 N. Main Street, PO Box 599, Bradner, OH 43406. The bid opening will be November 3, 2016 at the Village Council meeting at 7pm. You will be able to raise your bid at the time of opening.

 

The wood pile can be seen between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm, Monday through Friday, at the lagoons. Please contact the Village Hall at (419) 288-2890 to schedule.

 

The wood pile will have to be cleaned up within 15 days of the bid acceptance and between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. You must have a way to load and haul the wood yourself.

Brush Pickup- Monday, October 10th

The next brush pickup starts Monday, October 10th.

Clippings must be stacked at the curb with the thick end toward the road NO EARLIER than 48 hours prior to the date of pick up. Any remaining debris not picked up by the Village Street Department shall be removed by the owner or occupant within seventy two (72) hours of the completion of chipping in that neighborhood. Those failing to remove debris piles within seventy two (72) hours will be issued a citation by the Village Zoning Inspector. A penalty for violation of this provision will be $10.00 per day for each day or part thereof over seventy two (72) hours that the debris is not removed.

All grass clippings, weeds, leaves, pine cones, twigs, small brush and miscellaneous debris must be bagged. Any debris of this type that is not bagged will NOT be picked up.

Please DO NOT mow grass into the street as this clogs the storm sewers.
