Golf Cart Inspections

The Village of Bradner will be following the State of Ohio laws regarding golf carts, (USV – under speed vehicle), on the roadway.  The Bradner Police Department is offering the village residents the ability to make an appointment with us and we will inspect your golf cart for free.  This will give you the ability to get a title, (if you don’t have one already), and then get license plates.
According to the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (614-752-7671) the engine size does not matter, all vehicles similar to a golf cart are treated the same and any golf carts that are operated on a roadway must have license plates.

For more information or to schedule your free inspection, please contact the Bradner Police Department at (419) 288-2222.

Brush Pickup – June 13, 2016

The next brush pickup is Monday, June 13th.

Clippings must be stacked at the curb with the thick end toward the road NO EARLIER than 48 hours prior to the date of pick up. Any remaining debris not picked up by the Village Street Department shall be removed by the owner or occupant within seventy two (72) hours of the completion of chipping in that neighborhood. Those failing to remove debris piles within seventy two (72) hours will be issued a citation by the Village ZoningInspector. A penalty for violation of this provision will be $10.00 per day for each day or part thereof over seventy two (72) hours that the debris is not removed.

All grass clippings, weeds, leaves, pine cones, twigs, small brush and miscellaneous debris must be bagged. Any debris of this type that is not bagged will NOT be picked up.

Please DO NOT mow grass into the street as this clogs the storm sewers.

Grass Clippings in Street

A reminder to residents, please do not blow grass clippings into the street when mowing or using a leaf blower. Clippings can clog the storm drains and cause issues for the Streets and Water Department. We thank you in advanced!
